A Mother’s Day Gift From Borusan: Joy Factory
The result of the Borusan Joy Factory Architectural Design Competition as part of My Mom’s Job is My Future social responsibility project is now available! The first four of the ten daily childcare facilities will be constructed in the organized industry zones of Adıyaman, Urfa, Malatya and Afyon. The foundation of the Borusan Joy Factories, which are dedicated to working mothers and their children, will be laid on June 11.

The Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Şahin and the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergün will join us for the groundbreaking ceremonies of the Adıyaman, Malatya, Şanlıurfa ve Afyon Borusan Joy Factories.

Borusan has organized an architectural design competition for the construction of the Borusan Joy Factories within the scope of the project titled My Mom’s Job is My Future.

The competition, which was organized in accordance with YEM, (Turkey’s Building Information Centre) received a record number of applications with a total of 963 pre-registrations and 188 delivered projects.

Decided by a jury of Turkey’s leading architects, the winners of the competition are the young architects Hakkı Can Özkan and Serdar Köroğlu.

The prizes, along with honorable mentions and purchasing value of the projects, will be given in YEM on May 14.
